The Theo-Sight Institute for Research and Advocacy is pleased to announce its upcoming Strategic Consultation on Methodology, Policy, and Advocacy, scheduled to hold on 25–26 June 2026. This high-level gathering will bring together invited stakeholders, researchers, policy actors, and strategic partners for critical engagement on some of the most pressing questions shaping Theo-Sight’s research and advocacy work.

The consultation will focus on three major areas: methodological review and strengthening, policy and advocacy engagement, and the Institute’s Mid-Year Board Meeting. Together, these sessions will provide an important opportunity to evaluate current research frameworks, assess field documentation standards, refine advocacy strategies, and strengthen institutional direction for the months ahead.

At the center of this year’s consultation is Theo-Sight’s commitment to evidence-driven advocacy. As violence, displacement, and institutional vulnerability continue to affect communities across Northern Nigeria, the need for credible, field-based, and locally grounded documentation remains urgent. This consultation will examine methodological approaches for improving data integrity, strengthening verification systems, and ensuring that research outputs effectively inform policy, justice, accountability, and peacebuilding interventions.

The gathering also serves as a strategic platform for dialogue with partners on emerging advocacy priorities, national and international policy engagement, and the role of indigenous research institutions in shaping global understanding of conflict, persecution, and human rights violations.
